Tore it down tonight, piston looks great, had decent fire, pulled the flywheel off and I can't get it to stay even half close to where it needs to be with hand pressure. I think if I were to try and tighten the nut it would spin out of time faster than I could tighten it.

Looks like a flywhell is in my future:censored:

I'm starting to wonder if I should take that $100 and apply it to a 200t.

I am a SICK SICK man, help me PLEASE!!!!!!
JB weld it on...:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

Hmmmm........ You take 50 shipped for it??

.

You need to "set" the flywheel onto the shaft before trying to tighten the nut. Place a socket over the shaft end, tap it "firmly" with a decent size brass hammer... tighten nut...

Or...

Lap the flywheel onto the shaft... (easy now - no key ;)) then repeat the first suggestion.

And... mark the crank-end AND flywheel, so you will KNOW in future it it ever moved again.

From time to time my 192 acts up. I figured mine out, the spark plug unscrews itself every few weeks. I just tighten it up and she's back runnin great. No matter how tight i get it, it still works loose after a few weeks.

So most importantly did Andy get this figured out. I have a 192T and am curious what this turns out to be.

I've got an Echo CS-360T that had sheared a key and buggered up the crank.
Filed the crank down smooth, some RED Lockite and seated the flywheel with a nobounce and short piece of pipe.Let it set over night and she was good to go.
Just lock the crankshaft with the old rope through the plug hole and like someone else said scribe a mark on the flywheel and the crank.Good Luck !!
