038 Mag or 044 50mm

I'm probably the only person that actually likes the 038 better than the 044. Every 044 I've used practically takes my arm off when I try to start it..

Keep both saws
Then buy, for cheap, a seized husky 350 and put on a 346xpNE p/c from Spike60 and build away, have fun, scratch the itch, and have 3 really good saws!

Meant to say, I'm in the UK. And already have a modded 2150 that I was so surprised by. I love it. Just like a budget 346 to me.

I put 044 together just cause I wanted to run em side by side, see for my self... 044 wont replace the 038[m], but would have hard time letting either go.
may as well throw 268 w/ported 272 top in the keeper pile, too.

I'm with you on that. Just like the sound and feel of it. I notice no difference with what either are capable of. Both seem to keep up with each other. I like the look of the 026 028 and 038 more too than the MS440 044 MS360 etc. Look more old school with the case covers. But why should that matter
