ive got my eye out for a cylinder. actualy thought about tearing it down and getn the squish down alittle tighter but i realy think i wont gain much going from 024ish to 020ish maybe stay in the tighter 019ish side of things

To the best of my understanding, your static compression is a function of the rings and cylinder.

And the combustion chamber volume, which is cast into the cylinder and subject to tolerances.
