066 rebuild (locked up)

Alright. Owner brought over that 660 for me to combine with the 066 to build one running saw. I was checking out everything tonight. Put 660 back together after checking p/c bearings all the good stuff you know. Put a plug in but didn't tighten up metal clamp on intake. Notice while turning flywheel by hand I can feel compression but it's not an over exaggerated feel. What do y'all think?? Rings ?? Decomp???

Ok. We have a runner. Put 066 jug on 660 with anew set of rings. Carb from 066 as 660 carb was acting up with adjustments so I swapped them and it stopped. Pull starter from 066. Brake lever. And miscellaneous small parts. All things together and we have a running saw. Hopefully put it in some wood tomorrow and see what happens

Do bearing cages melt? Are they other than metal?

These in the 066 are metal
