I will be buying an Echo 361P when my dealer does his annual 20% off sale in April. Should I go with a 14 or 16 inch bar? Just trying to match the bar up correctly to the motor size.
I wouldn't go larger than 14" b/c, combo.
I run a cs400, with 14" ...
I really believe that Echo is being a bit overly enthusiastic with outfitting those saws with bigger bars.
I think he would be better off with a 400 with cat delete and tune if he wants a 16" bar. If a little more weight doesn't bother him a 490 with a 16 is a real nice setup.
I would go 14".
I have a 16" bar on my CS-346 (33cc) and I can tell that it's pushing the limits of the saw. I had the 16" bar so it cost me nothing to put on. If I buy a new bar for it, I'm going to go with 14".
