Got few questions about hydraulic control's leaking not to familiar with hydraulic stuff but jus getting started on learning the ins and outs but I have a hose leaking that I know for sure of and this nipple thing behind hose ports on controls (lower) I'll post pics in a sec

What is this thing's purpose in life and why would it be leaking lol

I had and early 80's ford bucket truck. I kept having problems with the solenoids. I spent more time working on the truck than working in the bucket. I learned from that truck that I prefer trucks that have manual valves instead of electric switches.

Well I'm not a professional on this subject but I don't think my truck has any electric switches for hydraulic system what do electric switches look like or do differently then manual valves ?? the truck operates fine haven't actually been up in bucket yet still getting it to 100% think I'm at about 75% now haha upper control valve isn't hooked up right jus hooked up so no leaking this is my first truck like this so playing things safe but from lower controls everythin g operates fine from what I can tell the turning is a Lil slow but I don't have a idle adjust cable right now so I believe it's slow cuz I'm only idling when playing with lift
