1st Time splice

Also 1st time trying to get photos here directly.
This is the first time I splice rope, used the samson kit, but directions were confusing, youtube was much better. easier than I expected. It's 1/2" Dynasorb ( AKA Polydyne ) this was a scrap piece I had to cut from full rope, so I experimented with both ends.

neat looking splice, make sure you test it to destruction just to see how you measured up ;-) Splicing new line is way easier than old stuff because the sheath isnt as tight and is nice and slippery

Gonna tie one end to a tree, and pull with truck to see if it slips.
