Wow Chris...that is amazing. Great, great find and good for you.

Thanks JJ - this machine is a nice running and all original unit. Besides the std tooling, and spare chains etc, it came with its original set of falling wedges - still in their grease paper and unused. I enjoy finding saws like this one - not easy, but worth the effort.

Chris.

I'm with you on that. It seems like the saws that require great difficulty in finding and taking possession of are the ones that you end up cherishing the most.

seen in a long time.

I picked up a 755 saw today

Got a 755 locally today that was missing the bar and chain, but included the gearbox.
Motor is loose, but the saw will need tinkering to run.

The interesting thing about this is that I picked up a bar/chain/helper handle/gearbox for a 755 this spring at the other end of town. It can't be from the same saw since both parts groups included a gearbox.

My first two man saw... I posted this in the McCulloch thread also.

Holy mackerel!! I might be inclined to leave that saw as is; cobwebs, cosmoline and all!

I'm sure you have heard this a few times already but, :censored: YOU SUCK! The worst part is, I will spend 12 hours sharpening the rusted chain on my KB, and yours is already sharp. It still amazes me that pieces like this are still out there. I just wish I had enough luck to find these gems.

THe mall 11 i have been after for a long time (years but i got her ) i know the david bradly is not a chainsaw but that walk behind circle saw was in amazing shape and it was part of the group of saws , the 1225a looks bad but is a diamond in the rough , real good compression and a new scratch chain , and the fuel tanks interior is spottless , cant say that for the mall ll.
My question is did these saws come with a oil bottle for chain oil , i checked on line and a few saws did not have one

Pretty sure that all the 1225's had an oil can.
