2101xp help

so im looking for a new carb for a 2101xp. I think its a HS136. I cant seem to find a replacement one, any ideas? The throttle shaft has a lot of play and i cant get it to idle correct. Or is it posiable to get the shaft and body repaired?

I might have a carb. Not new, but in decent shape if I remember correctly. I am in Pittsburgh also! I will check tonight.

Yes, you can buy them from tillotson. I purchased 6 or so throttle shafts (they are made out of brass) to restore 6 or so that i have here. I bought them about a year ago i think. They are a bit slow to ship though I can tell you. took a few months from what I remember before I received the package.

i bought quite a few other parts as well for them to replace all replaceable parts on them. The only thing I did not replace was the governor, i left the screw in place with the parts behind it.

I sold 9 or so NOS about a year ago on ebay.. i think a few folks were happy to get NOS carbs!

I didnt buy from M and D, i bought from VE Peterson.
