I just got a 2156 this spring then found this site
And then its a call to Baileys far a non cat muffler. Hmm gotta get it ported yet

Then listening to all the talk here I had to get a 2185 Wow ripping maple rounds with 32" of bar.

Then it was a little 2135T

Now the 2171

What have you guys done to me

Darton2, Can you post some info on your dealer? He sounds reasonable on price with a decent inventory. I think that I may be within driving distance. I have a 2159...bit of a lemon, but I also have a 2149 that was bulletproof. Looking for a 2165 or 2171.

I just wanted to chime in. Good thread. I have a 2171 and a 2153 and I can't think of a better combo for firewood. You did well to pay the extra for the 2171, much faster cutting than 2165. When it comes to cutting 10-24 hardwood into firewood I think the 2171 is the perfect tool. The more I run mine the better it runs. I bought a 28" bar and skip chain for mine just for the once every 5 years I might need it. I can't wait to try it out. Proud to be a member of "club 2171".

Dam you guy's now I want one too, but they are just too expencive here in Norway. I wanted the Dolmar 7900 but I've had a very good experience with my 2152T, so now I concider the 2171/2186 also. Do I got CAD????
