what parts are shared with the 350 and the 346xp....will a 350 tank handle assembly fit for a 346....i have the beginnings of a nice builder but looking for tank assembly...

Yes the will interchange 2 different tanks though, one with port to hook a purge valve and one with out. make sure you get one to match up your carburetor. As far as I know everything else will interchange. Also parts from 340,345,346,350,351,353 will swap. 340,345,350 are home owner type plastic crank cased. 351 is a 346 with 350 top end.

A nice upgrade I found to the 346xp is to delete the purge valve. So, you may not necessarily need the tank that accommodates it.

What are the jonsered versions of these saws? I've thought about find one of these little guys to build. Like I have said in other posts these smaller saws have been speaking my interest for some reason....

I had a couple of 2152’s that I got cheap... they are the same as a 353, and as far as I can tell, other than the P&C, the same as a 346xp. I put a 346xp top end on mine with the intake & carb off a 357xp, and with some mild port work, it ran pretty darn good.
