I removed the oil pump and the two rubber hoses. Didn't see any holes in the hoses. The hose that goes into the oil tank seems to fit a little loose in the hole. Where the hoses fit around the pump it looked ok. But when I reassembled it and left it for a day, the same LARGE oil puddle under the saw.
Would a new tank hose fit much tighter, or what else could be leaking?

My 359 leaked a puddle of oil over night, as member told me to inspect the oil tank vent that is a small silver bullet shaped deal
under the bar. this has a small spring check ball inside. i was able to remove it and when cleaning it and blowing through it it would not act like a one way check valve, replaced it for about $4.00 and and my saw is dry. -- might help.
