365 X-TORQ Question

Bought this on Craigslist a while back but hadn't used it much until today. I had to turn the high speed screw out to get it 4 stroking like I want to hear. How lean are these supposed to be from the factory? I've always wanted a high top cover on a saw but they can't be had for my older saws, so I got one for this saw. It cuts pretty good, think I'm gonna keep it around.

Don't think so, it's got the correct cylinder and the tag says it came from Sweden in 2014.

Is it a Mahle cylinder? It looks correct. Nice and clean. You can remove transfer baffles and make it a 372. Just picked up a 2016 and had same situation.

Just me being paranoid... a sign of the times, whenever I see a saw that's too clean it sets off red flags. She's a sweetie for a 2014.

I have never seen a Chinese x-torq. Maybe they exist, but haven't seen any.

They do four stroke, but they have a limited coil and sound different. It's usually best to use a tach if you haven't done many. Otherwise start fat and trim it lean until you find the sweet spot.
