Bought this on Craigslist a while back but hadn't used it much until today. I had to turn the high speed screw out to get it 4 stroking like I want to hear. How lean are these supposed to be from the factory? I've always wanted a high top cover on a saw but they can't be had for my older saws, so I got one for this saw. It cuts pretty good, think I'm gonna keep it around.DSCN0601.JPG DSCN0604.JPG

Is it a Mahle cylinder? It looks correct. Nice and clean. You can remove transfer baffles and make it a 372. Just picked up a 2016 and had same situation.

That saw gives me the heebee geebees... is it Chicom?

I have never seen a Chinese x-torq. Maybe they exist, but haven't seen any.

Are these supposed to four stroke out of the cut like the old saws?

They do four stroke, but they have a limited coil and sound different. It's usually best to use a tach if you haven't done many. Otherwise start fat and trim it lean until you find the sweet spot.
