372 Bar Plate Replacement but what's this.....

Just replaced the bar plate on my 372xp, it was a little worn.
In the package was this other part. What is it and where does it go?

Retainer for the bar adjuster if you use a front mount adjuster.

It's a retainer for the chain tensioning screw.

On the 371, (which that bar plate would also fit) the old style plate had a finger that protruded down into the bar adjuster slot and held the bar adjuster screw from falling out. That rubber piece takes care of that...

btw, that case looks way too clean to have used up that bar plate. Very nice.

The case and all the ouside plastic were replaced.
