Not the original owner, just bought with some others. I had the top cover on shelf so i used it. I put new caber rings in it. Cylinder was in good shape. Havent done compression test

I'm interested in this saw, but have some questions. Seller, check your PM's.

Basically (for the forum's sake) I'm wondering how this saw would stack up to a MS461 or similar as far as weight/power.

385 would be more comparable to a 660 in weight and power. They use to be flat out beasts when modded & plenty powerful in stock form, not as tough as Stihl because of spring mounts. I ran 385’s for 3 yrs (a new one every yr) never had a failure on any major component. Damn nice saws if Swedes are your thing!
