I inherited a used 2002 Husky 385xp. Started it up just fine, but as I was running it I noticed an excess amount of oil on the wood I was cutting then extra oil dripping out and down on the guard on the bar side, finally it began to smoke a little which I believe was just the excess oil burniing on the now hot engine.
Now I'm not much of a small engine mechanic but can anybody offer some suggestions so I don't have to take it into the dealer? I guess I should first look up where the oil adjustment is, maybe it just got loose or something but I don't own the manual. I'll search on the internet for it. But thanks if anybody has some ideas for me. - Joe
