Here is the hickory we milled the other day Deek, i'll get the rest of the pics up later. They aren't the best I guess it was getting too dark.

Just remember, when I get there it is to kill deer and geese....may help feed cattle.....but I WON'T milk 'em!

They did quite a bit of work with a mill that size.

Its got a 25hp subaru it does a much better job on dry oak than our mill with the 20hp kohler. The hydraulic drive on ours will only slow down so far before it stops driving but it won't go slow enough, the engine starts lugging and the band starts waving up and down. The manual feed let him control the rate better. Our mill has a 6' minimum length of cut he can go a little under 4' I think.
