I see a lot of drumsticks there that only a drummer would look at that differently..

How much HP on that sawmill? Mine has 23 ponies.
Its got a 25hp subaru it does a much better job on dry oak than our mill with the 20hp kohler. The hydraulic drive on ours will only slow down so far before it stops driving but it won't go slow enough, the engine starts lugging and the band starts waving up and down. The manual feed let him control the rate better. Our mill has a 6' minimum length of cut he can go a little under 4' I think.
