Hope to get a 55/55r combo or both running. Have 1 decent piston, I may put a new ring on it and see if one runs (eliminate 1 prob?) then get a new one later. Both cyl look good. Pretty sure both 46mm.
Any aftermarket pistons better than others?
Any mfgrs to stay away from?
Any Suggestions/advice/experiences w/aftermarket pistons?

I assume OEM better but i'm not sure I want to spend that much to fix a 55. Did a few searches and it looks like most people are 50/50 on most aftermarket stuff.

Yes freak i will still take 1 from you upon your return if you still have it, but I would like to get one of these 2 running. I think they may be talking to me at night. Should I be worried about that?

Last, thanks to all of you I am trying to learn how to repair a saw "for kicks" when I am over my head with house projects and hobbies.
