576xp broken crankcase

I have a 2011 576xp with a broken crankcase. See pictures.

This saw came to me as "running but loose"
The only other thing I can see wrong is the spring and anti vibration bushing on the handle (clutch side) are missing.

Would the missing mounts cause enough stress on the crankcase to break it?
Anyone have recommendations on how to repair it? Can it be repaired?

I found a good used case and will be picking it up this weekend.
I will start a new thread to document my progress and I am sure will have have some questions along the way.
