Yesterday was Niks 38th birthday. Ironically enough, he left his 361 with me Saturday night to give a port job. I got started on it after work this evening and the work is done . I thought I'd show a few pics of the work. Sorry, no video. I don't have a stick of wood to cut here right now. Maybe tomorrow evening.
Here's the subject. It's a well used MS361 worksaw he recently picked up for a good price. It's one of the best running stock 361s around. The internals were in great condition so I got to work.
Here are some before pictures with my work laid out in tape so that you can see how much material was removed.
LOTS of room to widen the exhaust. Watch out for the one ring that ends on one side of the port.
Less room to widen the intake. You can see that I'm lowering it a few degrees.
