a little vacation

took three days off this week from my normal job to catch up in the woods. thought id share some pics

I know right? I love being in the woods and absolutely love logging. I'm pinching pennies to buy a skidder in the future. May do it full time someday.

The smaller load on the trailer went to a hardwood mill, I had yellow birch, soft maple, cherry, and ash. The bigger load was all hemlock I brought to another near bye mill that buys only soft food. I have a third pile I sell for firewood on log length.

Looks like a familiar vacation. THanks for sharing. I often have to go back to work to recuperate from "vacation." But it is fun.
