Born raised Eastern Canada, forestry in the family blood. Moved to AB for 25 years and forgot so much forestry stuff. It seems my brain slowly dried out and split, checked and cracked, sawdust and wood glue helps, this site helps way more. Came here to double check what I thought I knew, yet, so much has changed, new saws, modern techniques and people sharing tips & tricks, after 4 or 5 visits, yeah. I'm in. What I got here. husky line 372xp, (2) 266SP, 365SP / Stihls line up just so - 026, 271MS, MS660C (1 week old/what a monster!). Also, 18ton wood splitter, tractor with farm winch, small cable skidder, and 400 acres ready to harvest with this old busted body. Retirement might be tougher than I thought.

Yeah retirement isn't all it's cracked up to be I never get a day off or vacation from it.
