I'm confused! I read that the 2260 has a different "bar mount" than the Husky 562. Well, I have a NEW Oregon Pro-Lite bar that will fit my 550xp/268xp ect.. I just figured I'd put it on the JRed 2260 when it get's here, but it's not suppose to fit the 2260!

SO, I go to a JRed dealer and buy a new 20" JRed bar for the 2260, bring it home and it looks like the SAME mount as the Pro-Lite. Now I am confused for sure! lol

I thought the 550 and 562 had large bar mount and 2250 series 52,53 had small bar. But the 2260 large ? But I think a lot.

The 2260 and the 550 share the same bar mount . Oregon -------095 (small)

The 562 and the 268 share the same-------------------------- -------009 (large)

Thanks...that's what I WANTED to hear!

But I guess I was wrong on the 268 though, and that's fine, as it has a 24" bar and it's the only saw that I have that will have THAT bar on it.

I was just hoping that the 2260 and my 55 Rancher would share the same bars and it looks like they will.....as I'm thinking of sending my 55 out and getting it ported, and keeping it around!

BTW, I have a 3/8" - 16" bar on my 550xp and I LOVE that combo!
