alaskan mk3 bar clamps

just picked up a second hand 36" alaskan mill, and as i have never seen one in the flesh, thought i should check...

are the bar clamps on the mill, metal to metal style clamps? or am i missing some rubber pads or similar...

couldnt make it out on any of y'alls fine pictures...




should get to try my hand at milling my first log in a week or two, a few days ago a 4'dbh monterey pine was blown down at my place of work, and im sure i can find a decent log or two in it...

The vice like clamps that clamp the chainsaw bar in the mill are metal.

Don't think you've got any missing parts

Mine look exactly like the picture above - metal to metal. Scratches the hell out your nice shiny new bar, but it holds tight and that's all I'm asking for...
