It was looking like a rainy day here. So, I put the collar on the Used Dog, he hopped into the pickup and off we went to Raymond, WA on a fact finding mission...looking for info on kayaking around there. I had read about a museum guy knowing a lot about kayaking, so I found two museums, one was a carriage museum which I did not go in, the other was a maritime museum, and I went in. The guy was not there, and the volunteer did not know anything about kayaking, so I joined her tour group. That brought up the number to three people in the tour.
It turned out to be a cool museum. There was a corner devoted to logging, and they had well used springboards, chainsaws, misery whips, pretty much everything. I couldn't stay long because unlike here, the coast was warm and sunny and The Used Dog would get too heated up.
Here is their website. Click on the movie to see what is inside. I like the music.
Take a mini tour of the museum with me.
