What's some of your solutions for not making a god-awful mess when filling your saws with bar oil?

Not sure I quite understand the question but all I do is fill up the oil reservoir and watch the level come up to the top and then stop no problems .

I use fabric softener bottles and also a quart container with a funnel top lid like the ones that come on gear lube bottles. Both work well for me.

Don't spill it. And don't leave the cap open and walk around like an idiot spilling it all over your chaps numberone

You can get a Husqvarna oil can that stops filling when your tank is full.

Biggest thing for me was to stop being concerned about getting the tank 100% full. I'm not a climber, up a tree, trying to get as much as possible done on a tank of gas or oil. 90% full is fine.

I have an old bar oil 4lt plastic bottle that was purchased years ago, and keep refilling that from my 20lt drums , and just use that, no mess no trouble, tho if I cant see the level coming up, it might overfill, but thats on me.
