How are they "leaders" if they are being lapped?
Hey Larry, welcome to Oregon!
You gotta fire that baby up..! With the wind and rain, it's pretty chilly out. Had my CB036 started Monday afternoon. This evening was the first time I turned on the blower inthe house. Toasty..:biggrinbounce2:

Yup, the season is here. I burned over the weekend, and both last night and tonight. Temps have been in the high 30's to low 40's the last few nights, and it has been cloudy with a few showers during the day, so there is no help from the sun. It's not exactly "cold" like it will be in a couple of months, but the house gets down to where you need some kind of heat, so I lit up.
Early season like this, I burn the small diameter wood and all of the chunks that seem to accumulate. I have two crates from tractor attachments that I use for chunk boxes on the side of the wood shed. In one of my anal moods I measured them and calculated that they hold .43 of a cord, and they are both full.
I never really intend to cut stupid sized pieces like that, but the chunks come from trimming blocks that are too long, and there are some cookies in there from some saw testing. You can't stack that stuff, so I set it aside in these crates. No point in wasting it, right? What do you guys do with odd sized stuff like that?
Hang in there K7:chainsawguy:
Thanks man!! I'm liking it!
Furnace? hum, now that is a noval idea, might get me one of those someday. It was 41 degrees the other morning: you bet I'm burning. I don't want to turn the furnance on until 11/1.
