Im looking at upgrading to a used 1994 Hino Cabover with a fabricated dump box on the back. The Truck looks to be in good shape but does have 300.000kms but at $8900.00 I don't think I can go wrong. What do you think? Im gonna take it to the dealer to get inspected first as well.

I do not have any experience with Toyots's big brother truck line. My general expectations with foreign vehicles are that they run well for a very long time. When they start to need repair, they are three times as expensive as a domestic vehicle. The Hino's are starting to dig into the delivery market around here and are giving Internationals and Freightliners a run for their money. I haven't heard anything about them that would black flag them. I am not sure how the parts market treats you north of the border, US trucks may be just as expensive......

I had a friend that had one, it hauled sawdust all around michigan.
He absolutley loved the thing! Great on gas. But as mentioned expensive to fix.
