Anyone know the current price of Cherry?

I have a few VERY nice cherry trees I am getting ready to cut down to make room for a barn. One tree is straight as an arrow for about 30 ft up , no noticeable knots and it is 8ft. in circumfrence. A few others are 7ft and one is 6 ft.
I don't know squat about how to price these or how you know how many board ft. I have etc.
Could someone please give me a quick lesson on how to price these trees and roughly how much they would be worth.
I do plan on cutting them down no matter what and trowing them in my trailer and deliver them to the mill. Thanks.

This is a good place to start. Be advised that log prices are HIGHLY variable by species, region, season, and a million other intangible factors. Try to find a buyer before you worry about selling anything.

Ok. All kidding aside i wish it was worth more. I have cut some really nice cherry in the past. Problem is, here anyway, is there is no market. A few guys once in a while need a few boards for cabinets or furniture. Maybe a mantle piece. Thats it really. The boys at the mill just pile it in the pallet stack and send it off. Bummer really.
