Same 041fb I've been messing with for a while. Got a new piston and jug put in, along with a new ring. Wow, it is amazing how easy a ring compressor makes it too! :msp_thumbup: However, I can't get the thing to idle at all. It has fired a little bit, sputtering for a couple seconds but that is it. It has good spark, decent compression. I don't know what the problem is. It is no longer flooding, so that's good. Any advice for me? I've tried 3/4, 1, and 1 1/4 turns out on the L screw. :bang::bang::bang:

Two things come to mind. Is the carb sealed tight to the carb riser and or is the impulse hose bad?

I believe the entire intake assembly is in order. All new gaskets, and the bolts are cranked down tight with locktite. I have not messed with either the fuel line or impulse line. I know they are not original.
