Madsaw, I don't have an 800 or 850, sorry. The saw display is in the south end of the woods display area, near the shingle mill and the bandsaw. Mike, most of the action is on Saturday, so that's when most of the guys are there. Competition starts at noon. We might be kinda busy starting saws, and timing, and keeping score, but after the events there is plenty of time to talk. I'll be there most of Friday, Saturday until 5:00, and Sunday until 4 or 5. Hope to see you. Here is a pic of my saws ready to load.

Here is the latest mod to the MC92 hotsaw. I put a different pipe on it. Its about 4 inches shorter in the header than the first pipe. It now gets on pipe and has a strong powerband. It pulls alot better. I also went to a 9 tooth sprocket. Doesn't have a problem pulling it. I'll have to use the stihl round chisel chain again. I ordered a loop of oregon square chisel, but it won't stay in the sprocket. it climbs out. Sprocket and chain are 3/8. One of the links is binding too.

I will be there on Saturday but I cannot bring any saws. I am picking up items in Madison and I will not have room. I have to find something to do on Sunday to make my wife hgappy so if anyone knows of any points of interest let me know.

Mike,

I wondered if you would be there. I tried to find Dousman on the map but it is not there. I did find it using mapquest. It looks like you will have a real short trip.

If you like to gamble, HoChunk casino is about a mile from the show. Also, Wisconsin Dells is less than 10 miles, and Baraboo has Circus World museum, Devil's Lake State park, and International Crane foundation.

How was it?

Just wondering how the show/contest turned out? I was unable to attend unfortunately. Looking forward to being at the next one or else other ones in the future.

What were the highlights of the weekend?

Sorry couldnt make it

wanted to come over, but getting backed up with projects for one, and then no saw to run anyway!

My S44 was worked on a little while ago and I thought it would be fine. Went to play with it, and all the gas just runs out of it. Tried to track it down but no luck, so that sets on the workbench. Then pulled out the 1-51, pulled, pulled, pulled, pulled, my arm fell off and she still wouldnt run. I think the last time my dad and I were "racing" he musta sabotaged me so he could win for once. well anyway.

I'll hope for next year, and keep my eyes open for something else to see in the meantime. Glad you guys had a good time.
