One problem with the beam machine milling device is the chain can whip thru the U brace channel and strike it if there is any extra slack.
For milling you dont want a too tight chain. I guess drilling thru the bar and mounting a long bolt all the way thru the bar would be better.Anyone come up with other ideas to make the union a better one,smoother,less side play etc...??
