Best electric polesaw?

FOP, you are correct. I have a powerful inverter that works with cables off my tractor battery and allows the electric saw to work.

I have a weaker one that is used for electronic devices off the cig outlet. No way the saw would work off of that. I just wasn't thinking, is the excuse I will stick with. :rolleyes2:
 
Another thing you might take into consideration is the kombi tool line from Stihl or any others. I have a model km85, it is the weakest of the pro line still with the "real" two stroke engine. I have as attachments the pole saw, trimmer, extension and hedge cutter. I know they are a lot of money but you have a lot of tools in one.
But as I said before you are way quicker unpacking, cutting off and reacking using a silky/or similar compared to any engine (gas/electric) driven tool.
