If i had a choice in real big wood it would go
to the Sachs Dolmar 166. 2nd choice would
be the Mcculloch 797 and then of course the
Homelite 2100. But you can,t forget the Mac
Kart saws, A true test of power.

I would have to say 166, Mac 125, and then a 655 family. If you're running one all day then a 390 would be a good choice.

I'm pretty partial to my Snellerized 9010 Dolmar.
I have a pretty nice 084 too but I just don't get into much that gives it a workout.

Due to my distinct lack of a 655BP, I'm going with my Pioneer P-60. I've run the big plastic fantastics, and they just ain't all that.

Got a ProMac850 that's starting to grow on me, but I don't have a big enough bar to challenge it yet.

288xp and a new mastermind 660 for when things get serious, my 1st tank through the 660 today and life is good

A Mac CP80 can be a lot of fun... the SP105/125 rarely get any food the right size.
I also regularly use some of the larger older Stihls: 064, 050/051, 076 (mostly milling), etc.

For most of the firewood one of the smaller saws (034 Super, Husky 61/162, Mac CP60) is quite sufficient.

you could do far worse. I have run two 5 cube Solos, 680 and 681 love them both, the 680 is my favorite Solo.
