Ive never picked up a saw before , never tuned a carburetor, didnt know a thing about cutting. The resources here are great so i wanted to say thank you.

Picked up this saw at what I was told is a very fair price, 400CAD. I'm inclined to agree. I didn't even know what it was but I needed a firewood saw

Ramble ramble ramble, lots of reading, a bit of cleaning, and a few minor mistakes I think I have it all dialed in and she really is a monster. Max temp reading 288. Max rpm 12something

After I was sure it felt right I let her cool then cleaned off the plug and ran her hard for a good few minutes just singing and this is the result

Temp after 190, Max rpm just shy of 12 and she snaps to it like a scalded rat. I think the plug is that chocolate brown I read about too.

Conversely if she blows up I demand restitution

Nice saw, looks to be in pretty good condition. Look after it and it will last you a good long while yet.
I got it off my neighbor and if what he says is true then this saw was used for a short time and then was stored ever since.

I'd like to imagine it'll last. All I had to do was replace a fuel line and check the tune
