Big wood or little wood?

I also gotta scrounge for wood, so I take what I can get...to a point. I don't have any wood handling equipment such as a tractor with a FEL, so I prefer up to about 18" (20" maybe) Oak where I can usually lift (carefully using my legs) up on the splitter. The ole 044 with a sharp chain does fine for noodling, but when I have to noodle one round more than 4 times, I start telling myself to not do this again. But...then comes the next cutting trip and there's a few big rounds available...I'll learn some day.
