Anybody know much about these machines? I just seen one for sale on craigslist and i never seen one before and thought they were a pretty versitile machine for farm work/maintenance. Any body got any positive or negative things to say about them?

If you are talking about a ToolCat, they suck IMO.

We had several at my last job, a skid steer could easily outwork it. Heck the ToolCat wouldn't even pick up the 8ft snowplows that the 2 Bobcats used (or maybe they were 10ft wide), we had to get light duty plows.

Only reason they had them was so more people could plow snow, as it drove more or less like a car. Apparently using a skid steer is too hard for most people :omg:

They were about 55-60k new (and this was about 10 year ago) so there is that too.

If they had a decent lift capacity wouldn't be too bad of a machine. I want to say it could only lift ~1200lbs, where a skid steer can easily lift 3-4x that.

Be better ahead to just go with a small tractor.
