Any interest in this bow bar? Believe it originally fit a Homelite but modified for a Stihl.

I know I’m going to come off sounding like a novice but I have to ask. What was the purpose or portrayed advantage to a bow bar like this? My knowledge is not in vintage saws.

Out here they were used for cutting brush building logging roads. And I think maybe used bumping knots in the landing.
