i cut and split all year around. i find the fiberglass hands with the axe heads held in with plastic are junk i did about 40 cords before the head went flying into the bush good thing it didnt go the other way or i would be replacing a truck window :dizzy:. i like the wooden handle ones the best and after you if the axe head gets loose drive a few screws through the top and its good to go. plus the wooden handles i sand the down to make a good comfortable grip :cheers:
