Looking to trade my Canadien 175.

Pulls over fine with the starter rope, gas tank smells like nasty old gas as expected, but not corroded as one would see from ethanol fuel. If I get time I'll tinker with it and see if I can get it running.

In return, I'm looking for a pro level powerhead in the 50cc range with 3/8 drive to run my Simpson winch. CS-490, 026, 034(non super), etc. Yes I know the CS-490 is .325, new rim should fix that. Prefer to stick with Stihl as my local dealer is great, but a different brand is fine as long as it's a pro level powerhead. Can throw in cash either way to even things out and who pays for freight and whatnot.

Per a request, I pulled the muffler and checked out the P&C. Not good news, the scratches on the far side can catch a plastic butter knife.

Someone put the wrong spark plug in it, the flats stick out too far and there's no room to get a wrench or socket on it. Or maybe it's the right plug and it's just a PITA to do. Either way, as soon as I can get a wrench around it and get the plug out, I'll get a compression reading.

I haven't gotten the spark plug out, no clue on compression yet - I'll prioritize that. Just cranking it over, it's noticeably more stout than my 60cc Stihl is, as you'd expect from a 90+ cc saw. Photos of the P&C posted above.

I'll pass on the Skil. I'm not a chainsaw collector, just want a tool that suits my needs.

No thank you. I appreciate the offers, but I'm not looking for anything vintage. I'm a weekend firewood guy who just wants an effective tool, not a chainsaw enthusiast looking for a toy. Looking for something fairly modern, that I can get parts for easily online or at a local dealer. Stihl, Husky/Jonsered, Makita/Dolmar, Echo, maybe Redmax or Shindaiwa. I'd obviously be putting extra $$$ towards that.
