Chainsaw cylinder numbers

Hey, just wondering if there are any chainsaws with more than 1 or 2 cylinders? what about 3cyl or 4cyl?

These are fairly easy to get, they show up on Ebay about six to ten times a year and prices tend to follow the norm for overall chainsaw prices. I've seen them go as low as $300 locally to over $1200.00 on ebay.

My mate used to own a Mazda rotary car & it went like a rocket & was smooth as. Reckon it would be awsome to own a rotary engine saw.

Multiple cylinders must add huge weight, 2 cylinders, 2 spark plugs, 2 leads, 2 pistons, why would they ever make these?!?

I would love to have one of those, but they go for big money. I love the sound of that twin engine. Reminds me of my old Banshee!
