Oh jeeze. I remember those days, the cheapo depot chainsaws. He mights well just stand on the hood with as much pressure he's putting on that poor plastic pile. If he ever gets to run a nice saw, he'll wonder what the hell else he's been missing out on.

I was lucky I started with mccullochs back when they were real saw early 70's moved into Stihl never had to run cheapies. My dad also new importance of good sharp chains.

With that chain, it really wouldn't matter what saw it was on.
