Egads... $1.99 for a cell phone ringtone on the Stihl website?

We should get one free from Stihl if we bought a saw from them... and certainly better than some musical ringtones out there.

I got mine from cingulars website. I love it and noone else that I know has it. It really makes people look at you when it rings!!! I wouldn't trade it for naything. Pony up the dough and smile when it rings!!!

Maybe I can fire up my own saw, record it, and save it that way?!? Not tonight though...neighbor might try to 'prarrie-dog' me!

Thats where I got mine - just searched for "chainsaw" in Get it Now.

I just checked. With my Verizon phone, Get it now, xringer, then in a strange catagory.... smack tones.... You gotta be kidding, there it is! Cost you a couple of bucks. Worth it.

I wanted a "genuine" Stihl (tm) saw for a ringtone.
Mod tones didn't work for me. I followed the instructions, but no go. Maybe just me, maybe my older phone, whatever. I dunno.

If you want a genuine Stihl, record an 056 mag 2... or even an 038 mag.. I bet they used an 025 or something...:hmm3grin2orange:

That's no kidding. I got one of those ring tones a while back, and it doesn't sound like a single saw I have. More like a lean Wildthing.
