Wow, that's amazing, i saw a similar Danarm item on the 'bay recently. Click -->Danarm Monster Saw They've really come a long way in 50 years, considering the mad looking designs back then.

Edit: When did they invent today's chain then, with depth gauges and all?

Scratcher chain cut like a slow circular saw... took forever to cut big wood with it...

We went from misery whips and drag saws to scratcher chain... and the misery whips cut better...
