Has anyone seen or purchased one of those new log splitters from China that are being sold in retail outlets? Grizzly and Steele are the two names that I have heard.

I think that Speeco units are primarily from China even though they have an office in Golden. Just an FYI since I see you are also in CO.

why would you even consider it?

there are many products that we unfortunately have no choice where it's made.

for the few products we do have a choice on,you should make the right choice.

if the log is more than 100 lbs. then when you put it on the splitter the plastic beam will break and the whole splitter will fall apart.

Buy american made.
