I have several trees to take down this weekend, none of them are leaning any, but one HAS to drop in a direction to avoid a barn. I was going to throw a line up into the tree and attach it to a winch after running through a block on a nearby tree to direct the fall, but all I have is several hanks of climbing line.Is it okay to use a climbing line instead of a bull rope for this?its not going to take much for tension to get it to go in the direction that I need, but I want to ensure the drop in my direction rather than mother natures.
