There's probably already a thread about this, but I'm wondering what climbing rope you guys prefer.
I've been using 150' yale Blaze. I like it except it milks too much when I'm using my bee-line.

anyway, it's time to replace it and I'm wondering what you guys like.

I've been looking at the new yale Moon, but I'm afraid it will be just like the blaze.

I'm sure there are a ton of different preferences out there, but what do you like and why?

Oh, and I've never used a spliced end, just tied a figure eight. Is it worth the extra $ to get an eye splice?

My new ropes are Samson Arbormaster 150’ 8100 lbs. +/- breaking strength and
Forestry Pro 7300 lbs. +/- breaking strength. For rigging I use 3/4" Arbor-Plex 12,000 lbs +/- breaking strength.
