I picked this saw up the yesterday. It runs but I think it has an issue with the reed valve as it whistles when I start it and when it was running without the air cleaner cover it spit gas onto my hand. I imagine it is either gummed up or needs to be flipped or replaced. Can you still get parts for them? Guy threw in a frontier fb-35 as well

I had the same issue with one of these rotten little buggers. The problem is the reed valve is seated against a plastic base and the base was slightly warped. I spent a long time flat sanding the crappy plastic until I could get a good seal with the reed. Ran surprisingly well once it was fixed.

That saw was made by Polan for sears. It is a polan Model 25 if you start looking for parts.

I just got this one from a fellow in Minnesota a week ago. My brother has one badged as a Allis Chalmbers.
I love the saw.

Yep, the S25 Poulan is a good little saw.

That might be a Micro S25. You can see such on flea bay.

Your in the right church but the wrong pew. The OP saw is a Micro based saw in Canadian colors.
