OK, I received the parts to fix up my wife's 14" Craftsman model 358.351140 (fuel cap, air and fuel filters), installed them, dumped the fuel in the tank and filled it with fresh mix.and fired it up. It's a nice little machine until it's run for a few minutes.

Then I remember why it was on the shelf for a while.

Once it's good and warm, pulling on the throttle trigger will cause the engine to die out, unless the trigger is feathered carefully. I can usually get it to rev up to cut for a few more minutes, but then it will finally stall and be hard to start.

We purchased it new in '96, and a couple of years ago I replaced the purge bulb and fuel lines on it.

So, what can I do to keep it running?

Thanks!
