Crankcase repair

I've done them both in a High gloss white and pearl white.I liked the later better.Painted the handle to match.
Use a good adhesive promoter like they use for automotive bumpers.You can get it at any autobody supply.

Will paint hold up on the handle?

Just an update on the final product:
-new seals
-new piston
-new chain
-new dogs
-new handle
-new decals
-new .. (I'm sure I'm forgetting half of the stuff)
-powder coated
-plastic polished and clear coated

Now I need some big wood to cut. :msp_biggrin:

i let that go because I have exactly one HOP part in my entire stable of saws. Yep, a spare from Bailey's. :cool2:

To clean to use, I'd put it on the mantle and go buy a used beater for work!!

I thought about those at first and had a bright blue in mind, but figured it would hurt the resale value (or at least the number of potential buyers) if I ever sell it.
So far, this one was my most extensive re-build yet and I appreciate everybodies input in it over the last year (or so) on this.
